Story
In Film Kohra, Waheeda Rehman meets a rich man Biswajit.
They both fall in love and get married. Biswajit brings the new bride
Waheeda Rehman to his home. It is a huge mansion with all vintage
antiques and curtains. Waheeda Rehman learns from servants about
Biswajit’s first wife died in mysterious circumstances about a year ago.
The housekeeper Lalita Pawar, who was also the nanny of Biswajit’s First Wife
is visibly disturbed by Biswajit marrying again and does not like Waheeda Rehman.
Biswajit leaves on a business trip for a few weeks and Waheeda Rehman is left to
herself. This is when she encounters supernatural phenomena in the mansion
and is haunted by the memories and spirit of Biswajit’s first wife.
Recovering from the shock, Waheeda Rehman decides to do her own investigation
of Biswajit’s first wife’s mysterious death. One by one she uncovers shocking dark
secrets about Biswajit, his first wife, and various other people.
The film was adapted from Daphne Du Maurier’s novel “Rebecca”.
Noted Filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock also made the film “Rebecca,
with a supernatural twist.
Kohra is a classic film.

कहानी
वहीदा रहमान की मुलाकात एक अमीर आदमी बिस्वजीत से होती है। उन दोनों को एक दूसरे से प्यार हो
जाता है और वह दोनों शादी कर लेते हैं। बिस्वजीत नई दुल्हन वहीदा रहमान को अपने घर लाता है ,
जो के पुरानी आलीशान हवेली है । वहीदा रहमान को बिस्वजीत की पहली पत्नी के बारे में नौकरों से पता
चलता है, जिनकी करीब एक साल पहले रहस्यमय परिस्थितियों में मौत हो गई थी। घर सँभालने वाली
नौकरानी ललिता पवार, जो बिस्वजीत की पहली पत्नी को बचपन से संभालती थी, बिस्वजीत के दोबारा
शादी करने से काफी परेशान हैं और वहीदा रहमान को पसंद नहीं करती हैं।
बिस्वजीत कुछ हफ्तों के लिए व्यापार यात्रा पर जाता है और वहीदा रहमान घर पर अकेला छोड़ के जाता है।
तब वहीदा रहमान को डरावने सपने आते हैं होता और बिस्वजीत की पहली पत्नी की आत्मा डराती डरती है।
जब वह सपने से बाहर आती, वहीदा रहमान बिस्वजीत की पहली पत्नी की रहस्यमय मौत की जांच
करने का फैसला करती है। एक-एक कर वह बिस्वजीत, उसकी पहली पत्नी और अन्य लोगों के बारे में
चौंकाने वाले काले रहस्य उजागर होते हैं।
फिल्म को डैफेन ड्यू मेयर के उपन्यास “रेबेका” से रूपांतरित किया गया था।
प्रख्यात फिल्मकार अल्फ्रेड हिचकॉक ने भी फिल्म “रेबेका” बनाई है।
कोहरा एक क्लासिक फिल्म है।
