MY RESPONSIBILITY
Friends, I have seen these stories happening around us, this is my version to tell the story,
yours may be different.
Radhika is shocked to see reports of Sandeep’s disease. Test reports show he has Aids.
Sandeep has always blamed Radhika for anything bad that happened to him. She remembered
her unsuccessful marriage with him. Sandeep, a very good-looking man, the son of a wealthy
Businessman. They were family friends for years. He was proud of his handsome features
and loved to flirt. To divert his mind from business and family affairs his father got him married
to Radhika, the equally famous rich and beautiful entrepreneur.
After marriage, Sandeep tried to stop her from going to the office, but her in-laws were keen that she should
work. After a year she gave birth to a son, and they named him Akash. Akash is a premature baby,
with weak eyesight. Their second child is a girl. They named her Nilima and their third child Sunil.
Sandeep never took responsibility for their children, so Radhika was forced to be at home with them.
Children are small and in school. Now his reports had shattered all her hopes, as Sandeep would soon
be dying. In his end days, Sandeep repents for his misbehavior, feels sorry for Radhika, and asks for
forgiveness. He requests her not to disclose his cause of death to anyone, even to their children.
After Sandeep’s death, Radhika starts going to the office and realizes that the staff is neither happy nor
supportive of her. She has to give them time to show her caliber, to gain their confidence, so her
regular attendance at the office and factory was required. She enrolls Nilima and Sunil in Boarding
School and keeps Akash with her in the care of a capable and caring Nanny.
All her children are young, they have finished their studies and are working, all successful, but do
not want to get married. They have their own reasons. Akash has weak eyesight, but he is active
in their business with Radhika. He does not want to be dependent on anyone, as he has seen his mother
struggling for all his needs. Sunil has a feeling that he is gay. Actually, he is influenced by his gay friends
. Nilima feels her father has destroyed her mother’s life by marrying her and not being faithful to her.
Radhika is not happy with her Children’s decision, but forcing them to get married will ruin her relationship
with them. She feels sad as to why she is deprived of happiness. Nilima being beautiful and secure in
life has a vast friend circle and is happy socializing. A friend named Dr. Anand has joined her group.
He is her friend’s brother, he is back from the U.S.A. and wants to pursue his career in India. As she parties
regularly and all her friends are frequent visitors at home, Radhika knows all of them.
After meeting Dr. Anand, Radhika confides with him about her children’s inhibition towards marriage.
She requests him to help her with it. Dr. Anand says Akash can gain partial eyesight with advanced
technology. He arranges his consultation with a Top Eye Specialist. Akash goes through all the
procedures and is able to gain his eyesight. This brings back his confidence in himself as now he is
not dependent on anyone. He is more active in his business and is ready to take on any challenge in life.
Sunil too meets doctors and counselors and gets out of his inhibitions towards marriage, during the
ongoing process he realizes that he is not gay, whereas his being with gay friends influenced him.
The counseling sessions change his total behavior and appearance.
As Dr. Anand is a regular visitor to their home and they all go to his clinic, Nilima starts liking him. She feels
Anand would be the Right Man for her as he is gentle and kind, well-educated, and with practice will be
successful in his profession.
At last, Radhika finds her happiness, as all her children are educated, successful, and happily married.
The past is left behind, the present is good and the future will be brilliant with many children will be
arriving in her life to keep her busy again. God is kind to her and is blessing her children.

मेरी ज़िम्मेदारी
संदीप की बीमारी की रिपोर्ट देखकर राधिका हैरान है। टेस्ट रिपोर्ट से पता चलता है कि संदीप को एड्स है।
संदीप के साथ जब भी कुछ बुरा हुआ, संदीप ने हमेशा राधिका को दोषी ठहराया है। राधिका और संदीप की
शादी असफल है। संदीप दिखने में बहुत सुंदर है और धनवान व्यापारी का बेटा था । वे सालों से पारिवारिक
मित्र थे। वह अपनी सुंदरता पर गर्व करता था और उसको फ्लर्ट करना पसंद था। व्यवसाय और पारिवारिक
मामलों में उसकी रूचि बढ़ाने के लिए उनके पिता ने उसकी राधिका से शादी की, जो समान रूप से प्रसिद्ध
अमीर और सुंदर थी, उसका अपना व्यवसाय था।
शादी के बाद संदीप ने उसे ऑफिस जाने से रोकने की कोशिश की, लेकिन उसके ससुराल वाले चाहते थे कि वह
काम करे। एक साल बाद उसने एक बेटे को जन्म दिया, उन्होंने उसका नाम आकाश रखा। आकाश की जनम से
ही आंखें कमज़ोर थी। उनका दूसरा बच्चा एक लड़की नाम नीलिमा और तीसरा बच्चा सुनील है।
संदीप ने कभी अपने बच्चों की जिम्मेदारी नहीं ली, इसलिए राधिका को उनके साथ घर पर रहने के लिए मजबूर
होना पड़ा। बच्चे अभी छोटे हैं और स्कूल में हैं। अब संदीप की रिपोर्ट ने उनकी सारी उम्मीदें तोड़ दी हैं, क्योंकि संदीप
की बीमारी लास्ट स्टेज पर है। अपने अंतिम दिनों में, संदीप अपने गलत व्यवहार के लिए खेद महसूस करता है और
राधिका से क्षमा मांगता है। वह उससे अनुरोध करता है कि वह उसकी मृत्यु का कारण किसी को भी नहीं बताए, यहां
तक कि अपने बच्चों को भी नहीं।
संदीप की मौत के बाद राधिका ने ऑफिस जाना शुरू कर दिया और महसूस किया कि स्टाफ न तो उसके आने से खुश है
और न ही सहायक है। उसे अपना कैलिबर दिखाने के लिए, उनका और अपना आत्मविश्वास हासिल करने के लिए समय
देना होगा, इसलिए कार्यालय और कारखाने में उसकी नियमित उपस्थिति आवश्यक है। वह नीलिमा और सुनील को बोर्डिंग
स्कूल में दाखिला दिलाती है और आकाश को अपने साथ रखती है और समझदार सक्षम और देखभाल करने वाली आया माँ
आकाश की देखभाल करने के लिए अपने साथ रखती है।
उसके तीनो बच्चे पढ़ लिखकर जवान हो गए हैं और काम कर रहे हैं, सभी सफल हैं, लेकिन शादी नहीं करना चाहते हैं।
उनके अपने कारण हैं। आकाश की नज़र कमजोर है, लेकिन वह राधिका के साथ उनके व्यवसाय में सक्रिय है। वह किसी एक
पर निर्भर नहीं रहना चाहता, क्योंकि उसने अपनी माँ को अपनी सभी जरूरतों के लिए संघर्ष करते देखा है। सुनील को लग रहा है
कि वह समलैंगिक है। दरअसल वह अपने समलैंगिक दोस्तों से प्रभावित है। नीलिमा को लगता है कि उसके पिता ने शादी करके
उसकी माँ के जीवन को नष्ट कर दिया है।
राधिका अपने बच्चों के फैसले से खुश नहीं हैं, लेकिन उन्हें शादी के लिए मजबूर करना उसके साथ उनके रिश्ते को खराब कर
देगा। वह इस बात से दुखी होती है कि क्यों वह हर सुख से वंचित है। जीवन में नीलिमा सुंदर और सुरक्षित होने के कारण उसके
बहुत से दोस्त हैं, जो ज़्यादा तर एक दूसरे मिलते रहते हैं । डॉ. आनंद नाम का नया दोस्त उसके समूह में शामिल हो गया है। वह
उसके दोस्त का भाई है, वह यूएसए से वापस आ गया है और भारत में अपना करियर बनाना चाहता है। जैसा कि वह नियमित रूप
से पार्टी करती है और उसके सभी दोस्त घर पर अक्सर आते हैं, राधिका उन सभी को जानती है।
डॉ. आनंद से लगातार के बाद, राधिका अपने बच्चों के विवाह के प्रति निषेध के बारे में उनसे बात करती है। वह उसे मदद करने का
अनुरोध करती है। डॉ. आनंद कहते हैं कि आकाश आकाश की नज़र कुछ हद तक वापस लायी जा सकती है। वह एक नेत्र विशेषज्ञ के
साथपरामर्श की व्यवस्था करता है। आकाश सभी प्रक्रियाएं पूरी करता है धीरे धीरे वह देख सख्ता है उसे लगता है कि वह अपनी दृष्टि
प्राप्त करने में सक्षम होगा। इससे उसका अपने आप में आत्मविश्वास वापस आ जाता है क्योंकि अब वह किसी पर निर्भर नहीं है।
वह अपने व्यवसाय में अधिक सक्रिय है और जीवन में किसी भी चुनौती को लेने के लिए तैयार है।
सुनील भी डॉक्टरों और काउंसलरों से मिलता है और शादी की दिशा में अपने अवरोधों से बाहर निकलता है, ऑन–गोइंग प्रक्रिया के
दौरान उसे पता चलता है कि वह समलैंगिक नहीं है, उसे उसके समलैंगिक दोस्तों का साथ छोड़ देना चाहिए। उसे शादी करने में दिलचस्पी है।
डॉक्टर आनंद और नीलिमा का नियमित रूप से मिलने की वजह से मिलना नीलिमा उसे पसंद करने लगती है। उसे लगता है कि आनंद
उसके लिए सही आदमी होगा क्योंकि वह अच्छा सरल और दयालु है,शिक्षित भी है और अपने पेशे में सफल भी होगा।
अंत में राधिका अपनी खुशी को पाती है, क्योंकि उसके सभी बच्चे शिक्षित, सफल और खुशहाल विवाहित हैं। अतीत पीछे छूट गया है,
वर्तमान अच्छा है और भविष्य भी अच्छा होगा,कई बच्चे उसकी ज़िन्दगी में बहार लेके आएंगे और उसे फिर से व्यस्त रखेंगे।
भगवान उसके प्रति दयालु हैं और उसके बच्चों को आशीर्वाद दे रहे हैं।
