Guddi (Jaya Bhaduri Bachchan) is obsessed with Film Star Dharmendra. She day dreams of getting

married to him and rejects the suitable alliance. To teach her lesson and realities of the film world,

her father Utpal Dutt  contacts Film Star Dharmendra through some source. Through Dharmendra

she sees reality and accepts to marry hero of the Film Samit Bhanja.
