Happily Ever-After

Vivek  Pradhan is cured of a paralytic attack. At a very young age, he felt his legs were becoming weak day by day. But he was not willing to sit his entire life in a wheelchair.  His wife Anuja has left him.  She is staying with her parents. Vivek and Anuja are not divorced.  Vivek looks after his office work from home with his mother’s help.  Mrs. Vidya Pradhan

is a very successful woman. After her husband’s death, she took charge of his business.  Vivek is her only son.  The paralytic attack has changed his nature. He was very calm and quiet by nature.  He and Anuja were in love since their college days and got married after graduation.  His present hot temper and abusive nature have forced Anuja to leave him.

A Caretaker Nurse named Sonali looks after him. She gives him medicines, takes him out for a short walk, and helps him with office work. Sonali is much more mature than her age.  She is sensitive and tries to change Vivek’s abusive nature, but all her attempts are failed.  Sonali was engaged to a boy named Alok, but her future in-laws demanded too much dowry and her father was unable to pay it. But Alok is still in love with her.

Sonali has read somewhere that if someone is to be cured fast, he should be surrounded by familiar things all the time, which used to amuse and attract him when he was well. With Vidya’s help, she learns the dress and hairstyle of Anuja.  The colors are liked by Vivek.  The books she liked to read.

Sonali started dressing like Anuja. During her free time, she read books of Anuja’s choice. This change in Sonali was though not clearly visible, but was being liked by Vivek.  He starts discussing things with Sonali, which he was discussing with Anuja. Slowly medicines were showing results.  He is no more short-tempered.  He was able to walk on his own, without a stick.

Vidya was observing this change, she felt Sonali would be the idle girl for Vivek, but Anuja has not given a divorce to Vivek. Sonali is unable to meet Alok, due to long duty hours, but she speaks with him on the phone.  She always discusses Vivek with Alok, and it annoys him.  He is unable to show his annoyance as he loves Sonali, and despite all odds, wants to marry her. 

Being sensitive and mature Sonali understood the tone Alok used while talking to her. She felt Alok had lost trust in her. Looking after Vivek and curing him is her duty. In the next few days, Vidya notices Sonali being upset and not in the mood.  She asks her the reason. Sonali narrates everything to her.

Vidya says she liked her and wants to see her as her daughter-in-law after Vivek takes the divorce from Anuja. Sonali is shocked, she does not have any reply. Vivek hears their discussion. The Next day he discusses the matter with Sonali and tells her that he still loves Anuja wants her back, but how?

After a few days, Sonali contacts Anuja and tells her about Vivek.  She tells her that Vivek is physically cured, but mentally upset as Anuja is not with him.  He still loves her.  Anuja too wanted to go back to him, as to how long will she be staying with her parents.

Sonali arranges Vidya and Vivek’s meeting with Anuja at a temple.  She also calls Alok to meet her there. When Anuja arrives, she tells Vidya that  Anuja and Vivek still love each other and want to be together again. Vidya should forgive her. Vidya is happy for her son and ready to forgive and forget whatever mistakes Anuja and Vivek made in the past.  She and Vivek welcome Anuja into their home and life again.

Alok is watching this. He appreciates Sonali’s maturity in dealing with such a delicate issue of marriage. She is the right girl for him and a perfect daughter-in-law for his mother.  He will convince his parents to let him get married to Sonali Only.

Friends, this is my way of telling the story, yours will be different.

हमेशा खुश रहो

अनुजा अपने कॉलेज के दिनों से प्यार में थे और ग्रेजुएशन के बाद उन्होंने शादी कर ली। विवेक के वर्तमान गर्म स्वभाव और अपमानजनक व्यवहार ने अनुजा को उसे छोड़ने के लिए मजबूर कर दिया है।

सोनाली नाम की एक केयरटेकर नर्स विवेक की देखभाल करती हैं। वह उसे दवाइयाँ देती है, उसे सैर के लिए ले जाती है और ऑफिस के काम में मदद करती है। सोनाली अपनी उम्र से काफी ज़्यादा समझदार है। वह संवेदनशील है विवेक प्रधान लकवा के हमले से हाल ही में ठीक हुआ है। बहुत कम उम्र में उसे लगा कि उनके पैर दिन-ब-दिन कमजोर होते जा रहे हैं। लेकिन वह पूरी जिंदगी व्हील चेयर पर बैठने को तैयार नहीं था। उसकी पत्नी अनुजा ने उसे  छोड़ दिया है। वह अपने माता-पिता के साथ रह रही है। विवेक और अनुजा का तलाक नहीं हुआ है। विवेक अपनी मां की मदद से घर से अपने कार्यालय का काम देखता है। श्रीमती विद्या प्रधान एक बहुत ही सफल महिला हैं। अपने पति की मृत्यु के बाद, उन्होंने अपने व्यवसाय की जिम्मेदारी संभाली है। विवेक उनका इकलौता बेटा है। लकवाग्रस्त हमले ने उसका स्वभाव बदल दिया है। वह स्वभाव से काफी शांत था। वह और और विवेक के अपमानजनक स्वभाव को बदलने की कोशिश कर रही है, लेकिन उसके सभी प्रयास विफल हैं। सोनाली की आलोक नाम के एक लड़के से सगाई हुई थी, लेकिन उसके भावी ससुराल वालों ने बहुत अधिक दहेज की मांग की और उसके पिता उसे भुगतान करने में असमर्थ थे। लेकिन आलोक को अभी भी उससे प्यार है।

सोनाली ने कहीं पढ़ा है कि अगर किसी को जल्दी ठीक करना है, तो उसे हर समय परिचित चीजों से घिरा होना चाहिए, जो नार्मल होने के वक़्त उसे आकर्षित करते थे। विद्या की मदद से वह अनुजा का ड्रेसिंग और हेयर स्टाइल सीखती हैं। विवेक द्वारा पसंद किए गए रंग और जिन किताबों को अनुजा पढ़ना पसंद करती थी। सोनाली ने अनुजा की तरह कपड़े पहनने शुरू कर दिए। खाली समय के दौरान उसने अनुजा की पसंद की किताबें  पढ़ने लगी। सोनाली में यह बदलाव हालांकि स्पष्ट रूप से दिखाई नहीं दे रहा था, लेकिन विवेक द्वारा पसंद किया जा रहा था। वह सोनाली के साथ चीजों पर चर्चा करना शुरू कर देता है, जिसके बारे में वह अनुजा से चर्चा करता था। धीरे-धीरे दवा के परिणाम दिखते है। वह छड़ी के बिना, अपने दम पर चलने में सक्षम हो जाता है।

विद्या इस बदलाव को देख रही है, उसे लगता है कि सोनाली विवेक के लिए सही लड़की होगी, लेकिन अनुजा ने विवेक को तलाक नहीं दिया है।

सोनाली लंबे समय से ड्यूटी के कारण आलोक से मिलने में असमर्थ है, लेकिन वह उसके साथ फोन पर बात करती है।  वह हमेशा आलोक के साथ विवेक की चर्चा करती है और यह उसे गुस्सा दिलाता है। सोनाली से प्यार करने के कारण अपनी झुंझलाहट दिखाने में असमर्थ है, और सभी बाधाओं के बावजूद, उससे शादी करना चाहता वह है। वह विवेक के बारे में सोनाली को ताना मारता है। सोनाली संवेदनशील होने के नाते आलोक ने उससे बात करने के दौरान इस्तेमाल किए जाने वाले स्वर को समझती है। उसे लगता है कि आलोक ने उस पर भरोसा खो दिया है। विवेक की देखभाल करना और उसे ठीक करना उसका कर्तव्य है।

विद्या सोनाली से परेशानी का कारण पूछती है। सोनाली उन्हें सब कुछ बताती है। विद्या कहती है कि वह उसे पसंद करती है और विवेक के अनुजा से तलाक लेने के बाद उसे अपनी बहू के रूप में देखना चाहती है। सोनाली हैरान है, उसके पास कोई जवाब नहीं है। विवेक उनकी चर्चा सुनता है। अगले दिन वह सोनाली के साथ इस मामले पर चर्चा करता है और उसे बताता है कि वह अभी भी अनुजा से प्यार करता है और उसे वापस चाहता है, लेकिन कैसे?

कुछ दिनों के बाद सोनाली अनुजा से संपर्क करती है और उसे विवेक के बारे में बताती है। वह उसे बताती है कि विवेक शारीरिक रूप से ठीक है, लेकिन मानसिक रूप से परेशान है क्योंकि अनुजा उसके साथ नहीं है। वह अब भी उससे प्यार करता है। अनुजा भी उसके पास वापस जाना चाहती है, क्योंकि वह कब तक अपने माता-पिता के साथ रह सकती है।

सोनाली एक मंदिर में विद्या और विवेक की अनुजा के साथ मिलने की व्यवस्था करती है। वह आलोक को भी वहां मिलने के लिए भी बुलाती है। जब अनुजा आती है, तो वह विद्या से कहती है कि अनुजा और विवेक अभी भी एक दूसरे से प्यार करते हैं और फिर से एक साथ रहना चाहते हैं। विद्या को उसे माफ कर देना चाहिए। विद्या अपने बेटे के लिए खुश है और अनुजा और विवेक ने अतीत में जो भी गलतियाँ कीं, उन्हें माफ करने और भूलने के लिए तैयार हैं। वह और विवेक अनुजा का उनके घर और जीवन में फिर से स्वागत करते हैं।

आलोक यह सब देख रहा है। शादी के ऐसे नाजुक मुद्दे से निपटने में सोनाली की परिपक्वता पर गर्व होता है। वह वास्तव में उसके लिए एक सही लड़की है और उसकी माँ के लिए आदर्श बहू। वह अपने माता-पिता को मनाएगा कि उसे सोनाली से ही शादी करने दें। वह सोनाली को बाहों में भर लेता है।
