Story

Mere Mehboob is a Muslim Social Film that starts at Aligarh Muslim University, where Rajendra Kumar

falls in love with a veiled woman, Sadhana. Sadhana is a sister of wealthy Nawab Ashok Kumar, they

live in a big mansion in Lucknow. Ashok Kumar has taken a huge loan from Pran, who wants to sell

his mansion. Ashok Kumar is in love with a Courtesan played by Nimmi. Nimmi is the sister of Rajendra Kumar. 

Rajendra Kumar is not aware of her sister being a courtesan.  Back to Lucknow after studies,

Rajendra Kumar Meets Ashok Kumar,  Ashok Kumar likes his poetry and helps him to get a job in a Magazine.

Ashok Kumar requests Rajendra Kumar to teach his sister Sadhana. During meetings, they both recall their

meeting at University and fall in love with each other. Ashok Kumar accepts their relationship and gets

them engaged. Ameeta too likes Rajendra Kumar, but sacrifices for her cousin sister Sadhana. Pran forces

Ashok Kumar to get him married to sadhana in return he will not auction his mansion. Ashok Kumar also finds

that Nimmi is Rajendra Kumar’s sister.  The Situation gets out of hand, but all fall into place in the end.
